First Three Supporters Spearhead The Tell TVL Fight Against Van Crime

Our Tell TVL initiative is now live and gathering momentum. We’re leading the fight back against van crime by creating the UK’s first real-time national database that records incidents across the country, helping to build a true picture of the scale and nature of the problem.

But it will only work with your help. The more people and businesses that join the community and share their experiences, the less room there is for the criminals to hide. With that in mind, it is a great pleasure to welcome onboard our first three official Tell TVL Supporters – bottBrigade and the BVRLA.

Laura Moran, Managing Director at TVL, says: “As our first Supporters, bott, Brigade and the BVRLA are pioneers in the fight against van crime and have signalled their intent to get on top of this scourge to society once and for all. A big thank you to each of them for their commitment, as we elevate our mission to grow the Tell TVL community as quickly as possible.

“Our customers at TVL include some of the largest van fleets in the UK and we will be pushing this initiative out to all our contacts and friends across a wide range of industries to request their backing and support.”

Van racking equipment specialist, bott, is recognised worldwide as a leading manufacturer and supplier of in-vehicle and workshop equipment, as well as workstation systems – with production facilities in Germany, the UK and Hungary manufacturing products for a worldwide customer base.

Brigade has been pioneering the cause of commercial vehicle and plant safety since 1976, when it introduced the very first reversing alarm to Europe. The business is now viewed as a market leader in vehicle safety systems, with a global network of subsidiaries and approved distribution partners.

While the BVRLA represents over 1,000 companies engaged in vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management. Its membership is responsible for a combined fleet of four million cars, vans and trucks – one-in-ten of all vehicles on UK roads.
